About Us
Our Starting Story and Our Team
The starting point of our Accessible Health project was realizing that the lack of health knowledge in society could lead to serious consequences. We believe that everyone has the right to access accurate health information, but many people get lost in the complexity of medical terms. We observed that refugees, in particular, who face language barriers and cultural differences, experience significant difficulties in accessing and benefiting from healthcare services. The issues experienced by those around us, who have personally faced these challenges, motivated us to take action. Our project aims to bridge this information gap and help disadvantaged groups, especially refugees, manage their health more effectively.

Our Mission
1) Increasing Health Literacy and Making Information Accessible
The Accessible Health project aims to increase the health literacy of the society and to make health information accessible to everyone. Our project supports individuals to make more informed health decisions by facilitating access to health information. Our goal is to increase awareness of healthy living, especially for disadvantaged groups and individuals who have difficulty accessing health information.
2) Comprehensive Health Education Modules
Our project offers training modules covering a wide range of health topics. These modules include basic health information, disease prevention and management, what to do in emergencies and healthy living suggestions. Each module is prepared in plain language and supported by video lessons and interactive quizzes. Our training content is provided by expert health professionals.
3) Easy, Free and Accessible to All
Our education platform has a user-friendly interface and can be accessed via both mobile devices and computers. In addition, our platform has Turkish, English, and Arabic options. Our modules also have subtitles in these languages. Our project appeals to every individual and ensures that everyone has access to health information regardless of age, gender, and education level.
